Our rodentologist is called Lisa and we would recommened her. She is friendly and knows what she's doing. She can offer advice.
She gives our Pigs and Rabbits check overs at least twice a month. Even if only one needs seeing she will give them all the once over.
She has 15 Pigs of her own and 8 needing homes.
She charges for boarding Guinea Pigs £3.50 a day per pair and £3.00 for a single.
She charges for bathing but if they are boarding the bath/worming is included in the stay.
Rodentologists are able to offer diagnostic advice to owners of Guinea Pigs in health and husbandry, illness and a little obstetric.
They can trim teeth and nails.
They can carry out regular worming.
They can advise on drugs needed but are not a vet and cannot prescribe them.
They do not do surgery but can advise on practise and procedures.
