Companion - rabbits love company of their own kind.
Huge cage atleast 5ft by 2ft by 2ft for a single rabbit. 6ft by 2ft by 2ft for two.
A place to hide. (see toys).
A suitible place for your rabbits to reside. A nice calm populated place where they can be close to human contact. Perhaps your front room? Somewhere bright, but not in front of a window or in a very hot conservatory. All our rabbits are house rabbits. Although they can be kept outside but we don't promote this.
Good quality food - all the rabbits here are fed on Nuggets.
Pet carrier to travel to the Vets.
Good quality hay (lots of it). I can put you in contact with a cheap supplier with 5 star quality hay.
Straw for their bedding.
Nail clippers. (Many people would rather pay a rodentologist to do their claws as it can be tricky). I can also do this for you.
Bunny brush/comb.
Heavy ceramic bowls for dry and fresh food (so they can't be tipped over). Wash daily.
Water bottle or another heavy bowl for water.
Bottle brush (if using water bottles)
Pet safe disinfectant.
Absorbent bedding, eg sawdust, shredded paper, vet bed, hay, aubiouse, megazorb, fleece blankets etc. We personally use sawdust and straw for bedding for our rabbits.
Shampoo. Also see fundraising.
Toys and lots of them! (see toys).
Safe outdoor enclosure that is easy to move around the garden. Make sure it sits flat on the floor to prevent escapes, also make sure it has a lid to prevent predators from getting to your precious rabbits.
Indoor playpen/run (for those cold winter days). Baby play pens works great. Make sure they can't escape!
